About iMovie
iMovie is a very basic Macintosh based editing program. The advantages of using iMovie is the simplicity of the system, if you are not very familiar with digital video editing and are wanting to perform very basic edits consisting of basic cuts, transitions and simple video effects then we would suggest this program.
Using iMovie
iMovie is most typically used for creating short videos that can be put on a DVD-R or VHS tape. you can add music, still images, full motion video, with titles and transitions as well as incorporate scanned images.
