About iDVD
iDVD is a basic Macintosh-based DVD authoring program. The advantage of using iDVD is the simplicity of the application and its direct integration with iMovie. Whether you are an expert or a novice, it is easy to create your own DVD’s with a basic menu, graphics, titles, and even audio clips using iDVD.
Using iDVD
iDVD is most typically used for creating short videos that are “burned” to a DVD-R. iDVD lets the user create basic menus which provide access to the content on the DVD similar to the menus of a typical DVD movie. Additional features are provided that allow the user to create a scene index and a slideshow of still images.
Assistance with iDVD
Our staff will help you get started on your project, assist with importing or exporting video, images, or sound elements from other applications, and answer technical questions, but we will not provide you with feedback on the content or aesthetics of your project.
